Blood for Life participated in the NHSBT International Development Programme

Blood for Life donates equipment to RAFFA (International Development Agencey)for the National Transfusion Service in Jamaica -see www.raffa.org.uk/health-and-well-being/medical-equipment/
Blood for life foundation is a non government organisation established to support blood transfusion by working in partnership with government agencies to develop an effective recruitment strategies, supply and maintenance of modern equipment and development of staff through training.
Donated blood can be used in a number of ways including accident and emergency situations and for patients that are undergoing surgery. It can also be used for patients receiving treatment for cancer and blood diseases, such as leukaemia and Sickle Cell Anaemia.
